On Tuesday 30th of November 2010 over 700 students from Varsity College on the Gold Coast roared into their school hall full of energy and excitement. They were here to be a part of the new teaser for An Action Movie 3D, a Virgo Productions feature documentary, currently in development.
Cathy Henkel, Director/Producer, spoke with the students about the project before showing the current teaser. The hall was silent as the teaser played, the students were engaged and interested. A loud applause erupted once the clip ended with the energy in the room growing.
Earlier in the day, selected students were interviewed about aspects of the DeforestAction project and why it’s important to save the rainforests. The students then participated in additional filming for the An Action Movie 3D teaser. The footage has come up fantastic and the new teaser will be up online very soon!
The entire day was a huge success with over $500 raised by the students for the DeforestAction project. The energy and passion shown by the students was immensely uplifting. It’s incredible to think what 5 million young people’s energy can do. A big congratulations to all involved.
