After a highly successful lightning trip to LA, San Francisco, Montreal and Toronto, Cathy has joined the Screen Queensland Factual Delegation in London for meetings with broadcasters, producers and distributors in Europe. The purpose of the delegation is to promote the message that Queensland in a vibrant and innovative centre for documentary production across all platforms. Led by Patrick McDonald from Screen Queensland, the delegation also includes Sue Clother (Northern Pictures), Norm Wilkinson (Visionquest Entertainment) and Wayne Denning (Carbon Media). In London, the delegation visited Discovery, Channel 5, UK TV and AETN, and hosted a lunch with local producers. In Paris, they visited Arte and France TV and met with local producers in a venue overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The next stop is Frankfurt, then New York, Washington and Singapore, returning to Australia on November 5th.
